Join us on February 29th, 2024, from 10am-1pm at the Bedford Stuyvesant Complex for an amazing opportunity to connect with a wide range of employers, educators and service providers. This is your chance to make valuable connections and pave the way towards your dream career. The purpose of the Career Fair is to grant students with an opportunity to speak directly with professionals of various careers, get information about the daily responsibilities and tasks of those careers and also learn about the education and training required to work in each field represented.
Students can also dress in the clothing that represents their career, profession or job of interest. They will also be able to participate in a workshop designed to assist them with their “elevator pitch” and interviewing skills. Appropriate vs inappropriate questions, soft skills and resume development will also be discussed.
This great event is still in the planning stages. So far, bankers, community organizers, social workers, the military, law enforcement a fashion designer, and real estate brokers have agreed to participate and share vital information with our students.
